If you've taken a look around my website and think I might be able to help your organization, awesome! The first step is to contact me here with a brief description of your organization and your project or problematic business process.
So, what's next?
Meet and Greet
First, I'll review your request and respond promptly to schedule a free 30-minute meet-and-greet. If possible, I prefer to have this meeting face-to-face, but if that doesn't work in our schedules, we can set up a video call on your preferred platform. During this meeting, you can tell me all about the support you're looking for, whether its to launch your new CRM, clean up your program participant data, or to make it easier for your staff to process donations.
Project Proposal
If we're both excited about working together after our meeting, I'll draft a project proposal for you to review. For any project, you can expect the proposal to have the following sections:
- Overview
- Goal and Approach
- Cost Estimate
- Proposed Schedule
- Contract
Every project proposal I put together will consist of a combination of the following services:
- Knowledge Support: Phone and email support for your questions throughout the project.
- Project Management: Organizing project documentation, leading project status meetings, creating and managing the project plan, coordinating any changes made to the plan as work progresses, and helping the project team stay on track for success.
- Implementation Support: Communicating directly with vendors on your behalf and tackling implementation tasks (like configuring that new CRM for you).
Pricing
I base my hourly rate on a sliding scale that carefully takes into consideration the size and budget of your organization as well as the complexity of the project and the value of my time and expertise. The hourly rate I provide in your proposal is non-negotiable.
However, as a seasoned non-profit professional, I know that mission-driven organizations often have significant budgetary constraints. That's why the proposed schedule and cost estimate includes a range for the maximum number of hours per week I could spend working on your project and demonstrates how that effects the level of support I'm able to provide, as well as your project launch date. This allows you to choose the option that works best for your timeline, your team, and your budget.
Proposal & Contract Review & Approval
You will receive a proposal and contract from me via email for your review and digital signature. You can ask questions and request changes via email, or we can schedule a 30-minute follow-up call to finalize the details.
Project Kick-Off
We'll get together in person celebrate the launch of the project, get to know each other better, and discuss the first steps.
